PromoConPromoCon (promoting continence and product awareness) is an integral part of Disabled Living, a Manchester charity, which works nationally to improve life for people with bladder and bowel problems, offering product information, practical solutions and facilitating service development. PromoCon comprises a team of healthcare professionals: Continence Advisor with special interest in paediatrics; Research Occupational Therapist; Speech and Language Therapist and an expert in products. Norgine Pharmaceuticals Ltd provide core funding to PromoCon. Disabled LivingSupports disabled and older people, carers and professionals who work with them and is one of the largest of the UK network of Disabled Living Centres. Within the large permanent display of equipment expert professional staff provide advice and information on equipment and products for easier and independent living, also a full programme of training on related topics and issues. |
